You can now install elbow at the top of the outlet, after that measure, cut and install the downspout at the bottom of the drop outlet. The last step is to use mountain brackets that are strongly attached to the downspout at the side of your house.

It is good to empty your downspout onto an existing paved driveway. It must be already sloped down to keep the water away from the foundation of the house. Keep in mind to use rust resistant screws when you install gutter components. When you install gutter you have to work on the ladder or a scaffold at the height of the roof. You have to be careful and not to extend beyond your reach.
