Use of this website

1.1 PavingUK.co.uk welcomes you to our website. By entering this website, continuing to browse and/or placing an order with Paving UK you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, Paving UK asks that you do not use, or access this website. You must read and accept all the terms and conditions to which Paving UK provides before the use or access this website in anyway.

1.2 These terms and conditions form the entire terms and conditions that Paving UK provides on this website to which the customer agrees to the contract of the purchase of products and surpasses any verbal representation, statements or conversations.

By using this website, you are agreeing to the following terms of use

2.1 The images are to be used as a guideline only and do not offer a guarantee of the appearance of the product.

2.2 Paving UK will make every effort to provide the products as described on the website

2.3 The images and information on this website are subject to change without notice.

2.4 All products are subject to availability, dates from our suppliers and may be extended or cancelled without notice.

2.5 All products are to be paid for in full before the picking and dispatching of the order. Until then, all goods remain the property of Paving UK.

2.6 Paving UK does not accept refunds requests due to any natural or geological discrepancies such as texture, colour, iron, natural markings and anything else that is beyond our control. All natural stones are porous and are susceptible to staining.

2.7 All images on the PavingUK.co.uk website are the property of Paving UK and are not to be used or misrepresented elsewhere without the consent of Paving UK.

Pricing and Payment Methods

3.1 All prices are subject to change without notice.

3.2 Any additional delivery charges are calculated and accepted at basket stage.

3.3 There may be additional handling and delivery charges for splitting down full packs for bespoke orders.

Your Right to Cancel

4.1 Where the customer wishes to cancel an order prior to dispatch, a full refund will be issued.

4.2 Any special or bespoke orders are subject to a no-refund policy.

4.3 If the customer wishes to cancel after the products have been dispatched, it is the responsibility of the customer to return the goods at their own expense within 14 days of the cancellation date.

4.4 To qualify for a refund the products MUST be returned in an unused, saleable condition inside the original packaging.

4.5 Refunds will be made within 14 days of Paving UK receiving the product. Please allow up to 5 – 7 days for the refund to appear in the bank account that the payment was made from.

4.6 Cancellation requests will only be accepted from the customer who placed the order.

4.7 Orders made via www.PavingUK.co.uk have a 14-day cancellation period from the date of the order.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if

5.1 There is insufficient stock available to deliver within 28 days of the order. The customer will be contacted by a member of the Paving UK team to either organise a refund or provide an estimated delivery date.

5.2 Paving UK suspects fraud has taken place.

5.3 Any of the goods that the customer has ordered were incorrectly listed or priced on the website.

5.4 Paving UK or the third-party courier are unable to deliver the goods to the customer’s property due to insufficient access or an agreed safe place.

5.5 Paving UK will contact the customer as soon as possible and will re-credit through the original payment method within 28 days of the order being placed.

Samples & Product Information

6.1 The pack sizes are based on a 10-15mm grout gap unless specified in the listing.

6.2 All paving may have a variation in size. Paving UK advises the customer to allow for +/- 3mm on thickness and 10mm on lengths and widths. This does also apply to the calibrated paving range.

6.3 Images are for reference purposes only and are only as clear as modern technology allows.

6.4 When ordering multiple packs of paving, Paving UK advises that the customer lay from each pack to blend the colours. Natural stones are particularly susceptible to colour and tonal variations, whilst porcelains vary from batch to batch.

6.5 Whilst sorting tiles to ensure suitable blending, normal practice calls to separate the tiles with minor damages or some unusual markings so that they can be used where cuts are required, or in less visible locations.

6.6 Mineral oxidization or rust contamination is a natural phenomenon that will not affect the durability or performance of the stone. The visible effects of this process can dissipate over time.

6.6a There are products on the market that claim to help and dissipate these effects. Always seek advice from the chemical manufacturer on the suitability of their products before use. Paving UK will be under no liability of any products that the customer chooses to use that damages or further impairs the product quality and appearance.

6.7 Paving UK will not be held responsible for the reflection stains or any markings on the paving caused by inappropriate laying.

6.9 The paving samples are an offcut of the selected product and are aimed at giving an idea of the colours and textures. (typical sample size is 75mmx75mm or 100mmx100mm – sizes can vary)

6.9a. Paving samples may only show one tone because of their size. Paving UK advises to order multiple samples to get better colour variations. We will not be liable for the difference between sample and product.

6.10 Samples are usually dispatched within 24 to 48hrs (excluding weekends) using Royal Mail second class and are delivered to the address provided.

6.11 Natural Cobble Setts can vary in width and depth – The depth and width of the set can have a tolerance of 25mm+ difference.

6.12 There may be a difference between the pallet and advertised size discrepancy. For example, the packing may advertise the number of slabs whilst the Paving UK website provides the m2 provided.

Purchasing Goods

7.1 Paving UK will not be held responsible for any under or over ordering. Any dimensions within the product description are purely for guide purposes only.

7.2 Paving UK do not offer a buy back policy for any over ordered products.

7.3 Paving UK recommends the customer to double check the measurements before ordering, and to order a minimum of 10% extra to account for any breakages that could happen in transit or to use as offcuts. With Rainbow Sandstone Paving UK advise increasing this to 15%.

7.4 Paving UK advises the customer to only book in Landscapers, labour, tools and hire equipment etc. once the customer is in full receipt of the goods. If the customer advance hires or books in labour and the delivery is delayed, Paving UK accepts no liability for any incurred costs.

7.5 As the customer is ordering a natural stone product, the customer is accepting that it is in the nature of the stone that the paving have colour variations, iron flecks, textures, rivens, markings and tones throughout the paving. Natural markings such as sawn markings, hairline fractures/veins and unique flecks within the paving is natural and must be accepted. These do not defer the quality of the stone and does not make the paving unusable.

7.7 The prices displayed on the website are exclusive to www.PavingUK.co.uk and may vary from our depot prices.

7.8 The customer is required to leave us a daytime contact number that they can be contacted on. Failure to do so may result in a failed delivery and a redelivery charges may be applied.

7.9 All advertised thicknesses of natural stone are for guide purposes only. However, due to the nature of the product a tolerance of +/- 10mm can be possible. With Natural Cobble Setts this can be +/- 25mm.

Delivery Charge

8.1 Paving UK offers free nationwide delivery. Excluded postcodes are found below.

8.2 Paving UK aims to deliver the products within 2-3 business days from dispatch.

8.2 All postcodes displaying a charge are calculated based on the courier’s rates.

8.3 Deliveries are calculated and accepted at basket stage upon the customer entering the postcode. There may be a requirement for additional charge if the delivery is required on a reduced size delivery vehicle. Please refer to point 3.5.

8.4 Collection from our yard is free of charge and is only available on an appointment basis.

8.5 Postcodes AB, BT, DD, EIRE, GY, HS, IM(1 – 9), IV, JE, KA, (27-28), KW, PA(20+), PH, PO(30-41), TR (21-25), ZE + ALL OTHER SCOTTISH ISLANDS are exempt from the 2-3 standard delivery time frame and will be subject to 3-5 working days from the time of dispatch.

Delivery of Goods

9.1 Nationwide deliveries are made using a third-party courier service.

9.2 All deliveries are kerbside/roadside. If the customer requests a delivery to be made off the public highway, this will be at the driver’s discretion and only if safe to do so, irrespective of any pre-arrangements made in advance with Paving UK or the courier.

9.3 When ordering multiple crates, the delivery may be delivered over instalments.

9.4 Delivery dates are approximate. Paving UK will not be held responsible for any delays to the order once the paving has been dispatched from ourselves.

9.4a Whilst Paving UK makes every effort to ensure the delivery takes place on the date(s) provided, specific delivery dates cannot be guaranteed and any failure to deliver on a specified day will not be a breach of contract by Paving UK. Paving UK will not be liable to the customer for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses, including loss of profits, business or goodwill. Please refer to point 7.4.

9.5 Deliveries are made between the hours of 7:00 and 18:00 and are delivered on business days classed Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays). A Saturday delivery may be available but does incur an additional delivery charge. Saturday deliveries usually take place between the hours of 7:00 and 13:00. Paving UK does not offer a Sunday delivery.

9.5a The cut off time for next day or express delivery is 10:00. Orders after 10:00 will be processed the next working day (excluding bank holidays). Orders placed on a Saturday will be processed the next working day.

9.6 Our standard delivery service is made on a 18-24 Tonne vehicle with tail lift feature.

9.6a A smaller delivery vehicle 7.5-12 Tonne vehicle may be available, but this can delay the delivery and occur additional charges due to pallet weight needing to be distributed over additional pallets.

9.6b It is the responsibility of the customer to notify Paving UK of any delivery constraints in advance. For example, weight limit, restricted street access on route to the property or soft ground. Access maybe required for a vehicle up to 24 tonnes.

9.7 Paving UK accepts no responsibility for any damage incurred to a customer’s property or our materials if the vehicle is invited off the public road. Examples of damage are to manholes, tarmac indentation, driveways, overhead cables, gate posts. Drivers are instructed not to drive on ground such as mud, verges, or grass.

9.8 National deliveries are fulfilled by a third-party courier. Once the product has left our premises, the responsibility for the delivery lies with the courier service. Any damage incurred to property or the product after leaving our premises, is the responsibility of the courier service.

9.9 National deliveries are made using a hand pallet truck. For this reason, the driver will be unable to move the delivery on uneven, soft or gravel areas once unloaded.

9.10 The courier is not responsible for any additional lifting or carrying of materials.

9.11 The customer or an authorised person must be present at the delivery premises to sign for the paving.

9.12 Paving UK and the third-party courier will only deliver to the delivery address provided. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure these details are correct at the point of purchase. Paving UK or the third-party courier will not deliver to multiple addresses.

9.13 Delivery to an address other than the billing address is permitted but may require payment via bank transfer.

9.14 By accepting our terms and conditions and making a purchase the customer acknowledges the conditions required for the delivery process. The customer must contact Paving UK with any reasons as soon as they are made aware why they cannot meet these terms and conditions regarding delivery. Any failure to do so will result in the customer being liable for any re-delivery charges. Typical costs for redelivery per pallet are £100 and to return the can be in excess of £250. Paving UK will calculate costs on and case by case basis.

9.15 Postcodes AB, BT, DD, EIRE, GY, HS, IM(1 – 9), IV, JE, KA, (27-28), KW, PA(20+), PH, PO(30-41), TR (21-25), ZE + ALL OTHER SCOTTISH ISLANDS occur additional redelivery and return charges.

Acceptance of Goods

10.1 It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect the order on delivery and notify us within 24 hours of any damages or incorrect quantity by email to: sales@PavingUK.co.uk. Upon notification, Paving UK will endeavour to resolve any issues as soon as possible.

10.1a Immediately after inspection, the customer is responsible for moving the goods to an area of suitable protection. Paving UK takes no liability for goods being stored or handled incorrectly once delivered.

10.2 The nature of natural stone products means that the appearance, colour, tone and texture may vary resulting in the actual physical stone differing in shape, size, thickness and appearance from the photographs used on the www.Paving UK.co.uk website. It is strongly recommended that customers request physical samples of stone from any range before placing orders; customers are advised and welcome to visit Milton Garden Products to view all products prior to ordering.

10.3 The Customer is responsible for ensuring that the goods are suitable for their intended purpose.

10.5 Paving UK will NOT exchange, replace or refund for: breakages, chips, damages or discoloration up to 10% of the full order, as this is considered ‘Spillage’ with stone. Each order should consider a minimum of 10% extra stone to cover cuts and breakages & 15% extra on Rainbow Sandstone. See point 7.3.

10.8 Paving UK accepts no liability in respect to any defect or damage arising from the fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, effective or poor installation, misuse, alteration or repairs of the goods.

10.9 Paving UK recommends that the customer employ only the services of a qualified and experience fitter to be part of the storage, handling, laying and sealing of all natural stone and porcelain. Paving UK will not be held responsible for incorrect use or the poor laying of the product.

10.9a Do not use spot bedding, ring bedding and any other uneven mortar to support slabs as a method of laying the paving.

10.10 Paving UK does not cover any breakages for any orders under 10m2.

10.11 Paving UK does not cover the first 10% of breakages. Paving UK will look at replacing anything greater than this on a case-by-case basis.

Returns and Exchanges

11.1 If the product arrives damaged, the customer needs to provide photographs of all the damages within 24 hours of receiving the goods to sales@PavingUK.co.uk.

11.2 If the slabs are damaged upon delivery, Paving UK asks that the customer accepts and signs the delivery as damaged on delivery. The customer must notify us immediately if this is the case to arrange refund or exchange.

11.3 Paving UK recommends that the customer open the package by only removing the top layer of polythene to reveal the slabs inside. From here a thorough inspection of the slabs can be performed and a count of the exact number of damaged slabs and photos can be taken. Paving UK requests that photographs to be sent directly to our office via: sales@Pavinguk.co.uk. Please include the customer’s name and address for reference.

11.4 Stock cannot be returned and refunded for over-orders as Paving UK consider the customer to have ordered the correct amount. Paving UK do not accept returns where there is excess stone, disposal of any items is the purchaser’s responsibility.

11.5 Paving UK requires that the damaged, unused slabs to be returned to us prior to us processing a refund or exchange for replacements. It is the customer’s responsibility to return the slabs.

11.5a Only full packs can be exchanged; the customer may lose the right for an exchange if laying of the product has already started. The customer must notify Paving UK of damages before laying the product. Any damages or unusable paving products are the customers responsibility to exchange; and any cost to return or redeliver lies with the customer.

11.6 Refund and Replacement requests are only considered within 30 days of delivery date of your products.

Data Protection

12.1 By placing an order, the customer is allowing Paving UK to use the personal details for the sole purpose of supplying the goods, including providing customer details to the third-party courier. Paving UK may share information within the company network for purposes connected to or relating to the fulfilment of the order or for other internal accounting or compliance purposes. Paving UK will not use the details for any other purpose, without seeking the customer’s prior consent.


These Terms and Conditions will not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
